Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Hello;
Actually, "Ballerina" by Edward Stewart is an adult book. I read it when I was a teenager, though. I've treasured it all of this time and now it's out of print. I loved it when I read it. I hope it really is as good as I remember. You never know - when it's something you read as a teenager. It could have just been the sex in it that I loved (if there is any - I can't remember for sure).
I re-read a book as an adult that had been read to me when I was in fifth grade. I remembered it as being a really magical story. As an adult I found it to be quite boring. So - who knows? Maybe it's not as special as I remember. I'm always a little bit afraid to re-read my favorite books just in case it was the circumstances in my life at the time that made the book "ring" for me - or maybe the state of my hormones . . . .
Anyway, you might just like it if you can get your hands on a copy.
Best,
Pam
Hello Keturah;
Have you ever read Ballerina by Edward Stewart? It's out of print now but I'm sure you could get a used copy somewhere. I read it when I was a teenager and loved it.
Best,
Pam
Then your mother must be absolutely marvelous! Thank you! I started re-collecting paper dolls when my daughter was born and now consider them an art-form (not playthings, of course, because that would be childish, and I'm far too sophisticated to still enjoy playthings! I consider my Darth Tater an art-form, too, of course.)

Hey Tura, I did it by title. It is your old copy.
