About me I'm happily married, childfree, have 2 cats Mocha and Storm and am an avid reader. I also enjoy scrapbooking and blogging.
About my library I have a variety of interests when it comes to reading, so my library will reflect that. My favorite genre is medical thrillers. I also like Christian fiction and non-fiction, some sci-fi (space-related), suspense/thrillers, and self-help/personal growth books.
A side-note on my books listed - I didn't try to match format such as paperback or hardcover. A book in my catalog may say paperback when I actually have the hardcover version or vice versa. To me, I preferred to have the book listed regardless of format.

Given your interest in Michigan literature, you might be interested in my new novel, Into the Desperate Country.
Brief Description
Three years after losing his wife and daughter to a tragic car accident, Stan Carter abandons his life and retreats to his cabin in northern Michigan. But no sooner than he discovers life again, the real world intrudes on his seclusion, forcing him to return to human society. Thus Stan’s odyssey begins. Part cosmic vision quest, part farcical return to high school social dating, Stan’s story will touch anyone who’s shaken his head in disgust or dismay at the modern world.
"Jeff Vande Zande's Into the Desperate Country captures the primitive pulse of a life on the edge. Against the backdrop of Northern Michigan, a taut drama plays itself out, pulling the reader along on its tight rope. Once the logical world of our daily routines falls away, what are we left with? Vande Zande offers no easy answers in this impressive debut novel."
