Well, the classics are in boxes (I believe in owning them but not reading them)! HA! Most are double stacked! It's pretty sad. See, I've been swapping. The whole idea was to get rid of, not gain more, but it happened. I have a Cue Cat (the thing they sell on this site), I'm hoping it will help me catalog every book I have. I think I need to decrease my stacks of books, but I'm a bibliophile in the worst way! I guess that's fitting for a librarian, except I could start my own library!
Hi!
Great to hear from you! That night in Second Life was fun! I'm glad I could make you laugh. I think that was the most fun I've had in class and the most personal ( I enjoyed hearing your voice, it made class more real for me). I still haven't found my microphone! The bad thing about LibraryThing is I could only up load 200 books for the free account. I like Goodreads better because I can upload unlimited (as far as I know). My books don't give a good glimpse into everything I have. I have way, way, way, way, way more books than what is represented. Probably close to 1,000!
I have been wanting to read Water for Elephants! Except I keep getting side tracked. Right now, I'm interested in reading about the paranormal - werevolves, vampires, ect. I figure when I get bored with it I will try something new, such as Water for Elephants. Thank you for the recommendation!
