About meFred Ramey and Greg Michalson formed Unbridled Books in 2004, a renewal of our partnership dedicated to publishing high-quality works that are moving, beautiful, and surprising. We chose the name to designate a publishing venture that is both energetic and independent.

Unbridled Books is a premier publisher of works of rich literary quality that appeal to a broad audience. We want to be able to continue our longtime discussion about what allows a novel to touch our hearts and our minds at once. And we want readers, booksellers, and reviewers to trust that when they pick up an Unbridled book, we're inviting them to enjoy that rarest of pleasures, a good read.

About my libraryAll of the books you see in our library are the books we've published.

Here's a shoutout to Unbridled!!! LOVE your books. Say hi to Caitlin for me...

Do you have the release date for the Peter Geye book? My ARC says October but I don't have the exact date and want my review to run on that day exactly.

Take care!
Hi - thanks for adding my library and for the friend request. I wish you great success with your publishing company - literature that touches the heart and mind is treasured by all of us who love to read.
Pat

I received, read, and reviewed [An Unfinished Score] today!! I only meant to flip through the pages, then add it to my to be read pile... but I quickly got caught up in the story. My review is posted here in LT. Thank you so much for the opportunity to review such a great book... and for publishing something where violists finally get center stage!!

Thanks for the notice. I'm really looking forward to getting the book; it looks fascinating!

C'ville is getting busier every year, but it's still a wonderful little spot. Great to see a former Wahoo on LT ;D.

I just finished Last Night in Montreal, and I really liked. I have reviewed it here and will copy my review to Amazon. Thanks for introducing me to a great new author!
My Librarything review of Shimmer is now posted on Amazon.com. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and gave it 5 stars on Amazon.
Rachel,

I've posted my review on Amazon. Best of luck. Shimmer was one of the best books I've read this year.

All my best,

Debbie

I enjoyed reading "The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire" by CM Mayo. Can't wait for the sequel.
I received the book Shimmer by Eric Barnes and I'm working on the review. Thank you for sending it!
I'm sorry, no I never received it. I have only received two books from this website, The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted, and Stone Creek. Reading what others wrote about Conscience Point, it sounds like a really interesting book. I am sorry I missed out.
Hi!

I still haven't read it yet. I've started grad school since receiving the book and it takes up a lot of the time I used to devote to reading novels, unfortunately. The book is still on my to-read shelf and I'm hoping to get around to it soon. When I do, I'll write a review.
Yes, I'm sorry...I just haven't gotten around to reviewing it...I will get it in shortly...and thank you for sending me the book.

Deanie
Hi there,

My review of The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire is up on LibraryThing. I've also posted the same review on my Facebook page through the Visual Bookshelf application, but that's not really available for public consumption.

Thanks again for sending me the book, and giving me the opportunity to review it!

Krista
Hello, Rachel,

Hi, there -
I loved the Last Prince! I posted here and on Amazon and BN. I'm also presenting to my Teachers as Readers Book Group (we're old school and meet in person with no digital involved).

Thanks so much for the opportunity to review!
Marie
Hello,

I have posted my review for The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire on amazon.ca, goodreads.com and on my blog. I did enjoy the book - thank-you for the opportunity to review it.
Loved, loved, loved this book! I posted the following on Amazon.com:
I was luck enough to be chosen as an early reviewer for this book prior to its release and I just loved the book! It is a very different type of story than any other I've ever read. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for something different and interesting.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read this book! :)

Earth Your Dancing Place

Beneath heaven's vault
remember always walking
through halls of cloud
down aisles of sunlight
or through high hedges
of the green rain
walk in the world
highheeled with swirl of cape
hand at the swordhilt
of your pride
Keep a tall throat
Remain aghast at life

Enter each day
as upon a stage
lighted and waiting
for your step
Crave upward as flame
have keenness in the nostril
Give your eyes
to agony or rapture

Train your hands
as birds to be
brooding or nimble
Move your body
as the horses
sweeping on slender hooves
over crag and prairie
with fleeing manes
and aloofness of their limbs

Take earth for your own large room
and the floor of earth
carpeted with sunlight
and hung round with silver wind
for your dancing place

Thanks for the copy of the Last Night in Montreal. I received it about a week ago and can't wait to start it. (Would have sooner but I was slogging through a tome that is sixth in a series and I just had to finish...). What is a virtual tour? I would like to know more about it...sounds interesting!

Hi Rachel - Thanks for the Copy of The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire. I received it earlier this week and will let you know when I have a review written.

Cheers!

Thanks for sending me a copy of Shimmer. I look forward to reading it. Many of the ER books I have received are from small press operations. I am glad to see such books making it to the market as it gives readers more diversity in choice. I would be interested in finding out more about the virtual tour of the book. Please, reply and tell me more about it.
Thank you for the copy of Last Night in Montreal by Emily St. John Mandel, I am excited to read it. I have recently moved from Florida to SC and have had my mail forwarded, so I shouldn't have any problem receiving it.
I just received my copy of Shimmer in the mail today and I look forward to reading it. Thank you!
Thank you Rachel, I'm looking forward to reading SHIMMER.
Best, Harry
Hi there, what is a virtual tour?

Are you a small press or a division of a larger press? I enjoy small press books.

Thanks, Angie
Thanks Rachel, I'm looking forward to reading it. I don't know much about Mexico, but my daughter (Rachel :-) ) just returned from a visit, wildly enthusiastic and now I want to learn more about it as well as visit myself some day. This book will be a great start.

I'll email Caitlin today.
Great! Looking forward to reading it.
Thank you so much for the [The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire]. Please tell me about the virtual tour.
