About meI grew up in rural Utah, fortunately with parents who greatly encouraged me to read, and fed my habit with many great science fiction and fantasy novels. I'm a penultimate nerd, and make my living as a programmer, with my own consulting business.
I currently live in Springville, UT, which is somewhat less rural, but still has a nice smalltown feel. I buy books and video games whenever I can, and I enjoy reading at least a couple books a week.
About my libraryMy library is actually a mix of my own books, and my wife's. But I am by far the more prolific reader these days, and a majority of the books are 'mine'.
I read lots of science fiction, especially military scifi, but a fair bit of modern dystopian/cyberpunk as well. However, I'm also into fantasy, and read many flavors of that as well.
I've recently begun to read a lot more YA books, typically fantasy and scifi still, but their genres are a lot fuzzier than others.
