Hi Val,

For the 2010 reading challenge I would like you to read 'The Last Days of Dogtown' by Anita Diamant. I read 'The Red Tent' by the same author last year and it is now one of my all time favourites. I've not got round to reading any of her others so will join you in reading this one. Hope that's ok.

Hi Val, thanks for your challenge...however, sorry to be a pain, but this is one of the two challenges I have left for this year. Would you be able to pick another one for me when you get chance? There's no hurry. It's my fault for not tagging the books properly!

It's not as good as I thought it would be Val. I think I have exhausted my ability to read books like this over the years. I do still enjoy them but I think I've overloaded on them and after I've read all the ones of their type that I own I think I need to stop buying them!
Hi Val, I would like to challenge you to Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier.
HI Val,
I've chosen your challenge as - Sophie's World. I know some people find it hard to get into but I love it and have read it several times.

Cheryl

For some reason I've not challenged you yet! Anyway, my challenge to you therefore is for you to read "A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare: 1599" by James Shapiro - a book we both share and which neither of us has read yet. I hope to read it this year too!

Apologies for the delay in challenging you - hope this choice is okay.

Michaela
Hi Valerie, I'm challenging you to read 'Middlesex' I have read it and would be interested to hear what you think of it too.

I must apologise because I was doing my librarything a few months ago when my computer brokedown. We have just got a new one and are back in the e-world. Could I ask you to just look over my library and choose a different book for me please as I hadn't tagged them as unread before the breakdown! I have done now and have found that now I'm back online people have chosen books for me that I've read. My fault I know and I must apologise, hope it's not too much of an inconvenience. Many Thanks Michelle
Hi Val,
thanks for the challenge. Mine for your is Sophie's World. A lot of people think it is hard going but it is one of my favourite of all time books and have read it several times. I hope you get along with it too.

Cheryl
Hi Val
Thank you for your challenge, a great choice. I have quite a collection of Peter Ackroyd, whose London writing I love and a fair bit of which I want to reread, but this is one I've never got around to. Now I'm sure I will!

My challenge to you is Egil's Saga, the aim being to include something a little bit different. I love the Icelandic Sagas, and have a collection of them in two very large volumes, but for some reason, even though this is one of the 'big' ones, I've not read it, so will give it a go too. Happy reading!

Will.
Hi Val, I am challenging you to read Sacred Country by Rose Tremain for the Reading Group Challenge 2009. Hope you enjoy
