About me

About my libraryMy books are an eclectic mix (aren’t they always?) including an excessive quantity of souvenirs books from trips and stress relief graphic novels from my early adult years. Missing from the list are the numerous Encyclopedia Brown’s, Beverly Cleary, and Judy Blume’s from the olden days that would have been humorous to document; almost wish I have that collection, but they were always from the library.

Below is roughly how I rate the books:
0.5 to 1.5 star – A mix of I want my time back, I want my money back, and I need to mock the book.
2 stars – I bought it, read it, wondered why I did so.
2.5 stars – I bought it, I read it, it was ok, I will forget about it.
3 stars – Not necessarily good or worthy, but there’s something memorable about it.
3.5 stars – I enjoyed the book and willing to admit it. :P I might recommend the book.
4 stars – I will recommend the book starting at this rating. It likely hit an emotional note with me.
4.5 stars – Contains wow factors, likely affecting, enjoyable, good writing, but something kept it from perfection.
5 stars – A home run of writing style, memorable content and characters, left a solid emotional footprint.
