About me

You're The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!
by Douglas Adams
Considered by many to be one of the funniest people around, you are
quite an entertainer. You've also traveled to the far reaches of what you deem possible,
often confused and unsure of yourself. Life continues to jostle you around like a marble,
but it's shown you so much of the world that you don't care. Wacky adventures continue to
lie ahead. Your favorite number is 42.

About my libraryMy LibraryThing bookshelf is but a small fraction of the real-life books sitting doubled and tripled up on my numerous groaning shelves. One of my goals is to one day catalogue them all in LibraryThing, but life often gets in the way.

Noticed you liked The Virgin Suicides, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Thank you for adding me to your list of interesting libraries. My activity on LT has been a little erratic of late, but I hope to spend more time on it soon.

Happy bookworming!

Thank you for your interest in my library. I think that I have catalogued about 8% of my collection. I will be interested to watch yours emerge too,
Hello, Veracity!

I saw your review of "Winds of Tara" on your blog and noticed we have quite a few books in common :)

You left a comment on my library a year ago--but I haven't been checking my profile! I'm so sorry! It's nice to meet you, and thank you for adding me to your IL list :)
Thanks for adding me to your "ILs" - as a fellow Sydneysider I had to reciprocate! I hope you eventually get around to putting all your books on; THAT would be an extremely interesting library then! I sympathise with the groaning book shelves, mine are too!

Thanks for becoming a friend!
Hello, welcome to Librarything....I see you are an "Anne" fan, like myself. I am a teacher in the eastern part of Canada....not far from Montgomery's beloved Prince Edward Island. Every year I read Anne of Green Gables to my grade fives who really enjoy it as most of them have visited the house in P.E.I. I see we also have a few other books in common..I really like Donna Tartt, C.S. Lewis and Margaret Atwood. I read Anansi Boys a couple of months ago...enjoyed it (I liked it better than American Gods) and have just finished Stephen King's new paperback (Lisey's Story). Unfortunately, I lost interest in it halfway through and "gave it up"...something I rarely do. How did you like Year of Wonders?

Drop by some time and browse my library...it is mostly fiction. Love your "photo"! Brenda O.
