About mePh.D., Political Science, Louisiana State University, May 2009

I recently finished my dissertation in political philosophy. I'm a libertarian, a gun owner, and a fan of science fiction and fantasy.

Check out the new forum for libertarian fans and writers of science fiction and fantasy: http://libertariansf.freeforums.org/inde...

About my libraryI estimate I've got about 1/3 of my library cataloged now. The rest is still boxed up due to lack of shelf space.

What's in my library? As far as fiction goes, it is mostly science fiction and fantasy. Nonfiction: political science, philosophy, history, economics, psychology, natural science, cookbooks, gun-related, etc.

I loved it. Once you get past the opening 150 pages or so, the last 400 pages go by really fast. I enjoyed the first part of the book, which discusses the physics and science of time travel, but I'm not sure if it would interest everyone. Once it gets into the medieval period, the storyline just flies.

I see you recently added Timeline by Michael Crichton to your library. That is one of my all-time favorite books. It's fantastic. What did you think?

What book are you currently on? I'm curious.

Always nice to find other fans of Martin. I still have A Feast for Crows left to read in ASOIF. I'm about half-way through it now. How did you like it?

And of course, you have to love Tolkien. I see you have him listed among your favorites.
