About meA young adult just trying to make her way through the world, while reading as many (hopefully good) books as she can! Kelly has been reading since before she can remember, and practically lived in the library through her formative years. Now that she's an "adult" and has an income, she's starting to amass her own personal library.

About my libraryVery much a work in progress. Right now it only includes books I currently have in my possession, and will expand as I collect more books and retrieve books from storage.

And Orcs. My brother has that book.

It sounds like fucking garbage.
Haw!

Enjoy your recent Crypto review, but, like I just told someone else earlier today, it's just begging for more! Needs more length to it, nawmean? GO GO GOOOOO!
CHILD MOON
by Carl Sandburg

THE child's wonder
At the old moon
Comes back nightly.
She points her finger
To the far silent yellow thing
Shining through the branches
Filtering on the leaves a golden sand,
Crying with her little tongue, "See the moon!"
And in her bed fading to sleep
With babblings of the moon on her little mouth.
Since you work with Roger Fouts, how close was I when describing what I expected the book is to include?

Thanks,

-Tom
You are very welcome! I am glad that you haven't already read any of the books yet, it was so much fun going through your library, it is very well rounded. I would love to hear what you think of them when you are finished.
cheers

Kelly,

Yay!!! I just got my SantaThing. (It took a little while longer because I live in Germany but keep a US postal address.)

Thank you so much for the SantaThing choices you made for me. I am very excited to begin reading each of the books. "The Name of the Wind" interests me because I really enjoy well written fantasy fiction. "Next of Kin" was a good choice also because I think it will likely be a book about facing the recognition that other primate species share many of the same qualities as humans...which I am sure will be focused on the links between biology, psychology, human and animal behaviors, and evolution.

Excellent choices!!! I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season.
