About me I'm 23, and have recently finished an MSc in Library and Information Management, and work in the rare books department of an academic library. Before that I did a degree in history.

I like:
sesame seed bagels, brass bands, bread machines, books, clangers, coffee, email, fairy lights, flatpack furniture, friends, history, letters, libraries, lists, muffins, patterned tights, penguins, purple and pink, reading, stripes, swimming in outdoor swimming pools

About my library I have been collecting books for 23 years, although I occasionally have a minor clear out. I think I must have about 800 books - it's going to take a while to get them all on here. Predominantly fiction, including quite a lot of children's books, (both from when I was young, and a couple of years ago when I set out to collect the Chalet School series), but also history (did a history degree) and some other random books reflecting some of my interests (although, interestingly, I have nothing about brass bands!).
Unfortunately, my library isn't a great guide to what I read: I read huge numbers of books (last year I read 300 non college related books), and rely on my public library to provide these, as I can't afford to keep up with myself. (Plus, I regularly run out of bookshelves!)
