ciao ho trovato interessante il libro Operazione Jadewa di Marco Catana e volevo segnalartelo.
Ciao
Martina
I see we have quite a few books in common. Now that I am retired I have actually read most of these in the past year, sometimes going back to reread them. Given the meltdown the books by and about Rubin, Greenspan, Krugman are especially interesting.

It is also interesting how many people have the Alexander Hamilton autobiography, that firs great Secretary of the Treasury who got us off on the right foot.

I have just read Fallen Giant about AIG's Starr and Greenberg. A very badly written and organized book, but pumped out quickly, 2 years ago and ready to show us how a company originating with an American in China spanning the world, literally through war and revolutions is so important now to us.
I love your library, for what's not in it almost as much as what is in it. Plus you've got a bunch of things that I've been meaning to read but haven't gotten around to (and don't show in my library since I'm sticking to what I've read and also haven't upgraded to a real account). I plan to investigate some of the authors you seem to like who I haven't read yet--I'm certain you've found some gems I need to look into. So thanks for the great list.
What a terrific profile - we share many books in common and like your eclectic collection.
What an extensive library! I'm just getting started here at librarything but I see we have quite a few titles in common.
Vernonlee - take a look at my library - julianalisa - to see which books we share. I have a much smaller library, but you're the only reader to share this tight little group of books.

I'm guessing you didn't vote for Bush :)
Thanks for the info. Sorry for the dealy in my reply.
That would be by Nicholas Patrick Wiseman and was first published in 1854. There have been other editions since that time.
I'm looking for a book called Fabiola which I first read in high school. Basically it's about the life of a
Christian woman during the time of the Roman persecution of Christians. Don't know the author or when it was first published. I believe there is more than one book with this title.
