Hi Veronica - how are you? Was thinking about you this morning when I noticed that I have won an early reviewer book Any Given Doomsway (which I haven't received yet). Thanks again for telling me about librarything. - Marilyn
I still haven't read Ann Veronica! Oops. It does seem quite juicy/nasty. I love Wells not for the science fiction but for the gossip about his intrigues/liaisons! :)
Oops - meant 0 to 3 NOT 6.
V - check out the book rating system used by 'iverson'. Very interesting. I would do this except I already cleaned out the 0 to 6 books when I moved!
Veronica, Thank you for the honor of having my library marked as one of your 'interesting libraries'. It's a pretty eclectic mix of books. Hope you are enjoying yourself here on LT (I am totally addicted). Best, Lois
So nice to hear from you. I actually am a very fast reader and it is my personal escapism so I do go through a lot of books. Because I am also a collector I am always on the lookout but I also have to keep getting rid of books. You don't need to have a big library to be a great reader. Some people just don't have the space and you have to keep giving them away or taking them to the 2nd hand bookstore.
I do try to read and review as many Canadian authors as I can and particularly new Canadian authors. There are many gems out there. Happy reading and I look forward to hearing from you again.
