Viragodiva,

I see you have added What's Bred in the Bone by Robertson Davies. That's one I have (but have yet to read) as well. I've put it off because it's the second in a trilogy--do you know if they can be read out of order?

Christina

PS: I was glad to see you in the Monthly Authors group! I haven't seen you around for a while--were you traveling?

Just had to let you know that I collected three books from our library today - thanks to your tremendous enthusiasm and inspiration. Thay look absolutely splendid. Only challenge is that I can't make up my mind which to read first!
Thank you for your kind thoughts and your patience - the Egyptian travels sounded quite an experience!

PS no need to PM in future - I am sure friends would love to know more - as long as you are happy to share those delicious adventures !
Hello,

I see you have just added "Letters from Egypt by Lucie Duff-Gordon. I have just ordered a copy so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

I shall be keeping an eye on your library and your postings - you have some lovely books!

Jane
Thanks! Yes, I still don't know where to start with the Virago...so many interesting ones! Let me know if you have any recommendations. Is Molly Keane any good?
viragodiva,

Thanks for the interest in my library! It seems we already have many books in common, as well as an interest in vmcs.

So welcome to the Virago group! And welcome to LibraryThing! I think you'll find cataloging books quite addictive.

I look forward to seeing more of your library as you find time to add to it.

Christina
I feel so flatted by your interest. I hope we get to meet sometime since we have so much in common.
