About meI'm a stay at home wife and mother of two. I've been homeschooling both of my children for the past nine years, and most days I really love it. The older I get, the less inclined I feel to apologize for my weirdness. I've learned to embrace my inner geek.

I adore all things Doctor Who. I don't watch much tv, but when I do, it's generally something on BBC America. I enjoy sewing and quilting, and I'm trying to teach myself to knit. Mostly, though, I love to read. Anything and everything.

About my libraryI don't know that I have a favorite genre. I do love YA and children's literature, and I've got lots of it in my library. I also enjoy science fiction and fantasy books, but I wouldn't turn my nose up at a good chick lit title. I'll pretty much read anything you put in front of me. A few of the books in my library are my husband's or my kids' books, but they're ones that I would read or have read. I don't hand out five stars lightly, so if it's been given 5 stars, then I've made a really personal connection with the book or it just blew me away.

I've tried to keep up with my ever-growing library, but I seem to acquire them faster than I can add them here. So, it's incomplete, but it's a fair representation of what I enjoy reading. If you have similar tastes, I'd love any recommendations you may have.

Traci, I've noted the LT books for you and moved them to a different collection. The non-LT things have been written down and I'll stick 'em all in a pile for you. I think for your BM username you should actually be giving people your user id and not your display name. Not sure why it works now with the name, but my guess is that if someone else also decided to do Mrs. Pupcake for their display name there would be some issues.
I'm going down to Athens next week to clean out the storage room and have a serious talk with Melaney about which books are needed. I'll get back to you as soon as I have a clear idea, myself. There will be new lists!
Fantastic, Traci! I'll let you know when it arrives.
Please send media mail. I think that the boxes can weigh up to 35 lbs or something outrageous like that, and we have an entire month left. You aren't that far from me, so media mail will be speedy. We were even near you this summer--we did the Jamestown/Yorktown/Williamsburg thing since my daughter had been studying Colonial times in school. It was great fun for her, but it's my son who got excited about history for the first time. In any case, my father spent his teenage years in Virginia Beach and has fond memories.
Hi Traci,

Yes, i've been watching that user. It looks like something fishy may be going on and i doubt that you or i will ever see that book! Oh well. Almost 300 copies of that particular edition have been traded on BM so i'm sure another will be available at some point. Thanks for your help, and feel free to cancel any time!

Hey Traci
Just mooched from you! bookMooch can be so addicting. I've even bought books at thrifts and sent them to people I knew were really looking for them.

Know that I am in no hurry for my book, send it when you catch up. My TBR pile books are all owned and sitting in my sunroom, then I am a mile from my library, plus a book club and oh yeah that IPad hubby gave me so I could read more!
So no rush! See ya on here as I find I'm liking YA reads quite a bit.
