About meI LOVE BOOKS!!! It is an addiction!!
What a great site this is, a place to "store" my books. I have always wondered how many I have, maybe now I can find out.
The little scanner cat is a dream, I would never have tackled it without him. I am not a huge pet person, but I love this cat!!
My family thinks I am crazy, and dreads our local library's book sales. I get so excited, my stomach is in knots. Is that nuts or what!!
Oh well, this site has given me a chance to go through my books and weed out the ones that I don't need, (sure I will!). I am running out of space. My next house will have a library, for sure.
(Starting in January of 2008 I have begun to remove a lot of my religious books from my library, and am transferring to a library that I am starting at my church.(www.librarything.com/profile/ST.... Therefore, I can continue to buy books!)
"I cannot live without books"-Thomas Jefferson
"The person who can read and doesn't, has no advantage over the person who can't read"-source unknown
"A book is like a garden carried in the pocket"
Chinese Proverb

I've cataloged my gardening books, but haven't started in on the rest of my library. I am actually thinking of getting rid of some books I know I won't read, but somehow can't bring myself to do it.
And I went to Purdue, so I definitely know where Lafayette is!
