About meLove books. I will read almost anything. I really like books I can learn something from while enjoying a great story: Historical novels and novels from and about other cultures.

About my libraryI work at the Barbara Bush Branch of Harris County Library in Spring, Texas. We are about 25 miles north of Houston. The library is 6 1/2 years old, replacing a 25 year old library that was much too small. This one seems small already due to the rapid population growth in the area the last few years. Adult services and the computer lab are on the 2nd floor, Children's services in on the first floor next to the circulation desk. We are one of the biggest libraries in Harris County and HCPL with all of its branches is one of the biggest library systems in Texas. http://www.hcpl.net/
