About meI'm a lit geek. What can I say? Poetry is my passion, in particular, but I devour prose and drama also. I make liberal use of all of the libraries that are of a reasonable driving distance from my house. (Why stop at one? Eh?) I'm considering making a college major of it. We'll see, though. Anyway, I'm always on the lookout for a used book sale. =0)

I have looked at lots of religion and what they teach. A lot of what they say lacks something. I find the bible does not back up what they talk about.
The Jehovah Witnesses say that the Jews have no future. When you read jeremiah Prophecy God does have a purpose with the jews still. Thats why they have survive so much persecution over my life time. Yet they are a nation now and they are always in the news, more so than any other country when there is war and conflict. Is this not a sign God's purpose is still with the jews. The jews going back to the land is a prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes.
It would be good to hear your thoughts.

yeah, i've seen your posts a time or two in the poetry fool
allen ginsberg! god, i loved that man. and since you love reading his "howl", i suggest you treat yourself to listenin g to him read it! it's just incredble.
but, truth be told, i appreciated ginsberg more for his conversations, i loved the way he explained his positions, way back as far as meditating to raise the pentagon,
and on and on.
anyway, thanls for taking a peek at my LT page, dance on and write great poetry.
thanks again,
tim

That is in Somerville, MA, but is probably the top rated Buddhist site in the world. It's the excellent translations by Thanissaro Bhikkhu. You might find of particular interest the materials he translated which were written by Bhikkhunis (Buddhist nuns).
