Wendy, I am HOPELESS at this..never know whether I should reply on your site, or mine! Nice to hear from you...I am as frantic as ever (although I have only two kids, and you have double that...I really don't know how you do it!!)
I am going to take myself off this I think -- not really fair to join but never go on it. Hope all is well, and happy new year. Look forward to reading some great reviews for a terrific book -- very best of luck with it,
Cheers,
Susan

Hi Wendy...oops, just noticed you invited me as a friend! I am a very bad member of this forum and have only now found the time to start adding books. Anyway, hope you can work out how to add me as a friend -- please resend your invitition to me again, and I will try to add you! Happy New Year! Warm wishes, Susan
Hi Wendy,

I just added The Steele Diaries to my librarything list--haven't got to it yet, seem to be having a non-reading period (despite acquiring rather a lot of books!). And saw your name pop up in the authors box, so thought I'd say hello!

Have a great christmas,

Liz Hale
Hi Jenny,
I started out adding things pretty arbitrarily, but then thought it'd be fun to catalogue the short stories - as I've a reasonable collection. Fascinating to see who else has the more ebscure volumes, too... Margaret Atwood's stories are like boiled-down versions of her novels: her usual dark wit - only even more potent! Mavis Gallant is a new discovery: she's yet another brilliant Canadian writer.
Now, I should get stuck into this cataloguing. Hope you enjoy that book.
Cheers,

Wendy
Hi Wendy
Just wanted to let you know your book arrived today and looking forward to reading soon. I noticed in your recent activity short stories by Margaret Atwood. I like this author having read Alias Grace, Oryx and Crake, The Blind Assassin and The Robber Bride which is my all time favourite. I shall look out for Good Bones =) You have a fondness for short stories going by your library.
Thanks again
Jenny
Hi Melissa,

I'm glad too! New friends - especially those who want to read my books;) are always welcome.

Yes, well don't be too impressed - they're certainly not!! I suspect my kids' most lingering memory of me might be my constant: "In a minute ..."
Oh, and color me impressed, you manage to write with four children! :)
Hi Wendy,

I'm glad I accidentally made it to your friends list - I'll have to find one of your books for a read soon - any excuse to add another to my TBR pile.

I look forward to checking out your library as you go along :)
