About meI grew up reading, sometimes sitting for hours in our (very) old rocking chair. Reading has opened up new worlds for me. I tell my son and daughter that reading is the greatest gift we can receive, because it opens the world to become yours. My other activities include gardening, woodworking, genealogy, and writing. I even learned how to do cross stich once when I had mono...bored to tears...so I do once in a while pull that out too.

I am married with two adult children, (who STILL live with me) and I truly enjoy my family. We have fun together!

About my libraryI am a book collector. I have been on a mission to collect my favorite books from childhood to adulthood, and to discover new ones. I love the classics, fantasy, historical novels and genealogy research. I have a large collection of home and garden books as well.

SOMEDAY I will have a "real" library...how many of us think that? I'd love to dedicate a room to books and reasearch. A dream...
