About meI grew up reading, sometimes sitting for hours in our (very) old rocking chair. Reading has opened up new worlds for me. I tell my son and daughter that reading is the greatest gift we have, because it opens the world to become yours. My other activities include gardening, woodworking, genealogy, and writing.

I am married with two adult children, (who STILL live with me) and I truly enjoy my family. We have fun together!

About my libraryMy Library at LibraryThing

You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.

~Paul Sweeney

I am an avid book collector. I love the classics, fantasy, historical novels and genealogy research. I have a large collection of home and garden books as well.

I have a room cobbled together in my garage, (I call it my library), and it makes me feel very rich. I always have something stashed away for later!

Hi whiteknight50. I noticed we have 44 books in common. I like your list of books on Christian living. LibraryThing is a Blessing! Its great to keep track of all the books I read, but also to be able to talk to people who love to read as much as I do.
Hi There. I'm a member of the 75 challenge group. I'm compiling a list of birthdays and sending messages to those whose birthday I don't have as yet. Would you please send your birthday either to the birthday thread, listed below,

or to my home page:http://www.librarything.com/profile/Whisper1
Thanks for adding me to your Interesting Libraries list!
