About me I enjoy the outdoors and mountaineering but am just a tourist compared to the pros. I always hire a guide for the big climbs. I have summitted Mt Rainer, Mt Hood, Mt Washington (in the winter), skied the last degree to the North Pole, Summitted Mt Vinson in Antarctica, summitted Mt Elbrus and Mt Kilaminjaro. Been on Aconcagua and Cho Oyu and Carstensz Pyramid. Liked Siberia and St Petersburg and loved Tibet.
About my library I love books and have a nice library of mountaineering and adventure books. In my other life I have over 2000 numismatic books listed under Chicagocoin.

I must admit, this is a great typo. Guides = Gods, LOL!

Just something you might want to correct. Shameless Diary of an Explorer is actually written by Robert Dunn. John Krakauer is the series editor for Modern Library's Exploration series - this is a book in that series. Right now, it appears as a work of John Krakauer's and is not counted in the number of works owned by Robert Dunn.

It looks like we share many books, and a love of high places. I'm just getting started on our LT cataloging; have a LONG ways to go!
