About meKansas City-area web designer.

About my libraryMostly fiction--a lot of science fiction and fantasy, tending toward the somewhat humorous, i.e., vampires, witches, urban fantasy--nothing that takes itself too seriously. Also some so-called "women's fiction" and detective novels ... Lots of knitting books, and a slowly growing collection of tarot cards and books.

Hi, Willa!

I see you are also a big fan of urban fantasy. We have read so many of the same authors it seems. Big fun! I see you have read several of Tanya Huff's "Blood Books" series. Have you read the "Smoke" series?...it's Huff's spinoff series to the "Blood Books." In that one Tony becomes a Wizard. Henry Fitzroy, the vamp, is in this one too. I really enjoyed how Huff made Tony into such a great character in this seies, since we really didn't know much about him from the Blood Books.

I just started reading a new vampire series by Jeanne Stein. So far so good!

If you like Witchy stuff, be sure to check out my blog "Magickal Novels & Empowering Thoughts for Women" at http://www.OccultFiction.blogspot.com . You might enjoy it.

As for tarot, I have tried many decks over the years, but when I found the "Druid Craft Tarot" it was love at first sight, and that has been the one for me ever since. Are you familiar with it?

BB and happy reading!
Laura
