I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet. I've been swamped reading and reviewing advanced reading copies for publishers at the moment. One day, hopefully.
Very cool. Thanks for info. Now that you mention it, I have heard of the author before, but was not familiar with the series. Many thanks.

I'm not familiar with the Darkover series. Which one is that?

Always nice to find other fans of Martin. I still have A Feast for Crows left to read in ASOIF. I'm about half-way through it now. How did you like it?

And of course, you have to love Tolkien. I see you have him listed among your favorites.

you popped up in my similar libraries and I'm always on the hunt for new (good) fantasy. I'll drop you a recommendation: Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.
Hey, I'm currently getting my MLIS at SJSU! How in the world did you get a copy of "Heat Lightning"? We seems to have similar taste in Fantasy.

Sorry I didn't look at the books we had in common. I would recommend Peter David he writes Star Trek books. Also he wrote the finish up book on Babylon 5 "Legions of Fire". It is a very good book and he is a very good auther.
