About meFull-time momma and bookworm. Ex public library manager, now just a public library junkie.

About my libraryThe Fiction: Fantasy fiction, zombies and apocalyptic tales, fairy tale adaptations, the Fables comic series, and random bits of other stuff. But mostly fantasy--especially Beauty and the Beast retellings, vampires, werewolves, and the like.
The Nonfiction: vegetarian crockpot cookbooks, DIY books (garment sewing, crochet, homesteading, and re-purposing especially), green living, container gardening, and anything related to attachment parenting.

I was going back through my thread today - all the way back to the beginning looking for something, and I realized that I had completely missed a post from you. I really try to respond to everyone who posts on my thread, and I feel terrible that I missed you. Thank you for your suggestion of the Jennifer Crusie book - I love her writing, so warm and funny. I will add Don't Look Down to my list - I have not read that one and look forward to it! Thanks so much for stopping by my thread - I am thrilled to meet another Georgian! Again, I am so sorry that I missed your earlier post.

(Sorry, this is random) Heh, my mom uses "Willowsmom" as a screenname on a good number of websites...had to click on your name to see if you were her! Evidently not. :o) Well, name well chosen; I approve.
~Willow (um, obviously ^_^)
You are so very welcome! I am glad you like the books I picked for you, I have not read the Peter & Max yet, but if it is Willingham it has to be good! The Bloody Chamber has to be one of my favorite books of all time and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. It was so hard choosing just two books for you we seem to have similar tastes and there are so many series I think you would just love - if you ever get a chance I highly recommend Serena Valentino's series Nightmares and Fairy Tales.
P.S. Your baby is adorable!!
Happy Reading
I couldn't wait till christmas ...Thank you so much you did a great job!I am very happy with your selections as my Santa! And they fit into my 1010 challenge!I'm going to start with Wicked Lovely!
Thanks again,
Hi Jasmine,
I heard from Sonya yesterday that they didn't know if the sale prices at Amazon would still be in effect when they ordered on our behalf. Her advice was to assume that they would be, but to number your choices in order of priority in case they had to cut down on the books sent if they went back to the original price.

Hope this helps!

Good luck with choosing,
P.S. that's a very cute baby you have there :)
