It IS. I'm just REALLY bad at remembering passwords...... yea...
OMG it's been forever since I've been on here... I had to have my info emailed to me!!!!
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked When I was Five I Killed Myself, and thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Chris
Cheers!
*bemused* I'm just Dutch. I think anyone not a native speaker of English cataloguing their library stands a chance at getting badges for combining data...

*hugs, because she can*
*blinks* You no have them? I thought everyone did... *goes read what they actually are as she's not been paying attention* Ah. It's just that, when I added mum's books, I had several authors whose works weren't combined, so I combined them. ^-^
Hee! You had internet access! *much amused*

*huggles tightly and hopes things are going well*
LOL! Your reviews are great! Especially for the Tracy Chevalier books...bravo!
I see you read Chronicles of Narnia...can you review those next please?
Ooooh. What'd you think of Burning Bright? If you've read it already. It's on my 'to read' list somewhere. ^-^

*has been adding her parents' book collection, mostly* Urgh. I'm glad so many books are found in the national library. *finished two shelves and has 8 more to go* Thankfully it's something that you've only got to do once, I suppose. I hope to get it done before my parents return from their vacation. (I figured I might as well add them now as they'll eventually pass to me anyway.)
Thanks for your comment re Sharpe's Trafalgar. I read with interest your review of it and also your other reviews.

I have never read a Maeve Binchy book but think I ought to read one. Which one would you suggest?
*grins* Does appear like it shall become so. It is obviously a very good thing that I do not have access to my books at home.
'lo back. ^-^

*procrastinates some more*

Hmm... For some reason I'm intensely curious about what you'd make of Umberto Eco, though I've never gotten around to reading any of his works myself... [/random]
I enjoyed your review of "A Lantern in Her Hand." I agree with it, of course - that's why I think you're so intelligent and astute!! As a Nebraskan, I claim Bess Streeter Aldrich with pride as a fellow Cornhusker and amuse myself identifying where in Nebraska she sets her stories. Cedartown is Elmwood, Nebraska and the countryside around looks much as it did in the early days. Since you liked this one, you may also enjoy "A White Bird Flying" - a story of Abbie's granddaughter Laura as she grows up, goes to college at the brand-new University of Nebraska, and tries to find the path in life she is meant to follow.
