About meWork for a charity, live with my partner, yearn for a library in our flat.
"...and on a cold night he would sit in the big chair in front of the fire, reading by the lamp that stood on the heavy plank table and look up while he was reading to hear the north-wester blowing outside and the crashing of the surf and watch the great, bleached pieces of driftwood burning."
-Hemingway
"I got the blues thinking of the future, so I left off and made some marmalade. It's amazing how it cheers one up to shred oranges and scrub the floor."
-D.H. Lawrence

You're more than welcome. Currently struggling with Ben Okri's, 'A Famished Road', although I am enjoying it very much. It's one of those novels which forces a slower pace in order to fully appreciate the imagery and make sure that you're following the plot. I suspect it may take me all week!! Yourself?
