About meI am a librarian and have been connecting people with books since I got my first library job in 1988. I specialize in literature for young people but read books on all age levels and topics. My personal taste in literature is eclectic but as you can tell from my list that I mostly stick to award winning books and classics. I am a member of an adult book club, comprised of good friends, all women, who work as teachers, librarians and publishing professionals. I also have a book club for 4th and 5th graders that meet once a month. We discuss the books and then they go on a scavenger hunt while using library skills to find books in the library. Then they run around, scream and yell and at the end clean up. I love books that are conducive to interesting discussions. Oh, and I love LibraryThing!

About my libraryMy LibaryThing collection is a list of books that I have read. I add new titles as I read them. I do not list unmemorable and unrecommendable titles. The books are tagged in genres so that I can use my list on the job for readers advisory.
