Hello fellow woodswoman. I love to look at the tag clouds and I noticed you're also a fellow Booker prize fan. Do you know about the Orange prize- it's sort of the same, but only for women authors. E.
Thanks for your comment. What intrigued me at first was your name- "woodswoman". I love it! I also was astounded by the great variety of books that you have read and the many interests you have. I'm planning to use your library to browse and get ideaas for books to read.
Your father gave you a wonderful gift. I got mine from my mother and grandmother, although they didn't read to me, they were always reading. I read to my daughter and took her to the library on a regular basis, but she lost interest as she got older and now only reads medical texts. I even bribed her as a youngster to read The Yearling by paying her $20.00. Such is life.
I have been a voracious reader all my life . . . learned it from my father, read to my kids since they were babies, have a life partner of 19 years who taught English at CSU for 35 years.

We have 5000 books at our house and someone just told me about this site for cataloging! What a godsend . . . I think . . . got to find a faster way to enter 5000 book titles.
