About meI am a 50 year old Texas woman who loves books. What more can I say. I have always loved walking into a library and smelling books,seeing books and thinking, now this is where I belong.I enjoy the mini vacations and cast of unusual characters I meet when I indulge in the wonderful world of reading.What other situation allows you to go back in time and meet someone you are interested in. I am a christian woman who loves my God and my country.My wonderful husband and I have two great gifts in our life. Our son is 29 and our daughter is 26. I am a registered nurse. I enjoy good movies,good coffee,and good ole home with books in every room. I am a life long animal lover and so it is no surprise we share our home with a healthy dose of pets.LibraryThing has assured me that there are other people who have my same malady...Bookitis.

About my libraryMy library is a work in progress. I am literally going shelf to shelf and listing all the books I have read. I will be working on this as the days go by because I am listing at leisure. I have been looking around the great rooms of LT and can already see that many of you have very extensive collections. I am really impressed with the books and the owners. Happy READiNG.
