About meA philomath, autodidact, and a 'wanna-be' polymath. I am studying Psychology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy as an undergraduate at Temple University. I plan on pursuing a PhD. in Neuroscience with a body ownership and embodiment. I am also a musician. I play guitar, keyboard/piano and mandolin. I hope to have a solo album released on an Indie label sometime in the near future.

About my libraryI am a serious collector of books as a repository of knowledge, and I hope to one day have an extensive library. I try to balance my library between fiction, science, philosophy, and religion though I tend to lean more towards science and fiction. I have what you might call a book fetish (have you ever caressed the spine of a new paperback, or gazed longingly at the cover of a new book? If so, you too may have a book fetish).

We noticed that you were a Jorge Luis Borges fan, and we wanted to let you know that we’ve just published a brand new translation of his story, “Gradus Ad Parnassum,” in our anthology, ‘flatmanCROOKED – First Winter.’ “Gradus Ad Parnassum” is not currently in print in English, so we’re rather excited to publish what is to many Borges fans brand new work. The book also includes debut fiction from National Book Award winner Ha Jin, as well as stories from myriad other established and emerging authors. Check the book out at www.flatmancrooked.com/fmcmarket.html. If you get it through our website, it’s significantly cheaper than through Amazon or Barnes & Noble!
