Yes, I have that Churchill book but I've not read it. I have a bad habit of reading several books at once, especially if they're history books. It depends on what I'm in the mood for.
I just bought a couple of Stephanie Plum books on ebay that I've already read but did not own. They were at a good price, and I know I'll want to read them again at some point.
Thanks for the websites about New Zealand. I need to add NZ to my "places I want to visit" on my "43 things" website. Gosh I spend alot of time on the computer these days, but most of it is worthwile. Do you use "43 things"?
Here is my list. http://www.43things.com/person/gerryw465...

Yes, we're all about food here in the south! I had to work yesterday, even though it was our Memorial Day holiday. We decided to have an indoor picnic to cheer us up. We had pork barbeque, baked beans, several different kinds of salads, 3 cakes!
You might enjoy a website called www.southernliving.com. It is a magazine, but you don't have to sign up to see their articles. They have great recipes, and sometimes pictures of houses with long porches and porch swings. I think the magazine depicts the south fairly accurately.
Do you know of any nice websites about New Zealand? You have inspired me to learn more about your country.

I've always wanted to visit New Zealand! You will think this is weird, but I work in a hospital ICU, and we have a ventilator humidifier that plays the New Zealand National Anthem! It goes through two choruses of it before it shuts off. I don't know the words, but I can definately hum the tune! I think it is made by Fischer-Paykel in Auckland.

And I just noticed that you also like the Janet Evanovitch "Stephanie Plum" books. Her books are so funny!

Thats okay. We have alot of common interests in books. I love Jane Austen, and also "The Cat Who...." series. I've not listed all my books yet so LibraryThing is only showing 6 books that we have in common. Oh, also the Charlotte and Pitt mysteries, and Douglas Adams, although its been awhile since I've read those.
You live in New Zealand?
