About meBrought up in the " Pif Gadget " and "Strange", increased in the " Metal Hurlant " and enriched in " A suivre ... ", I cross the wide plains of the drawn whim decorated with phylacteries in a constant research for surprising discoveries.

Elevé au "Pif Gadget" et "Strange", grandi au "Métal Hurlant" et enrichi au "A suivre", je parcours les larges plaines de la fantaisie dessinée agrémentée de phylactères dans une recherche constante de découvertes étonnantes.

About my libraryFrench comic strips, several times Belgian, a suspicion of mangas in French version and a wide selection of Americans comics in French.
The subjects are very wide (SCI-FI, Fantasy, Western, Piracy, Super Hero, Chronicles) and often hijacked to approach grown-up subjects without forgetting the entertainment.

hello yann

very interesting links. (even if i did´nt understand a word ^^")
they even made a tv-documentaion for the release of the new passengers of the wind. something you could´nt expect to happen in germany.
i now have the first issue in my hands and it´s fantastic.
perfect print quality an smooth paper and hardbound - excellent.

hello yann

i have heard of the good news of the new "reisende im wind/passagers du vent" through my comicshop.
have a look at the infolinks of the german release.

naturaly i have ordered it right away ;-)

bételgeuse after aldebaran - ok

silage is... i don´t know. im still fighting with myself over this one.
moebius? ho ho. do you have an infolink?

mata ne oliver
hello yann

i have finally managed to take a closer look at aldebaran and betelgeuse.
and without delay i had to buy number one of aldebaran and order the first issue of betelgeuse to await my next visit to the comicshop. ;-)
so, thanks for mentioning the series to me.

Jaime Hernandez is not known to me. but if it´s like sip than i will have a look at it next time in the comic-shop (which i visted today ^^" - i make a note to do it next month).
oh - poison elves is no manga, it´s a us-indipendent by sirius enterteinment
my us-favs?

there is of course -Poison Elves- (sadly the artist died last year)
others are -Strangers In Paradise-, -Echo- (both by Terry Moore), -Sandman-, -Fables- and -Jack Of Fables-

that should be most of ´em

-Metabarons- jeah, i totally forgot about that one. it is definitly a peace of art (like most of gimenez work). there is even a roleplaying-game based on the metabarons.

mata ne oliver
don´t confuse it.
i did not recommend -les druides-.
it is a historic-series taking place in the 5th century and describing the difficulties between christianisation and the old celtic ways.
if you happen to like something like that... ok have a look, it is good.

segrelles. i already have the -el mercenario- books. ok not all of them but many. i realy like his graphic style.
-megalex- is also known. i see it in a line with the -incal- and -les technopères-. i realy don´t know what i should think about -les technopères- and -megaley-. ^^"

mata ne oliver
i will have a look on them.

just -antares- is not availabel in german.

i had already a glimps of sillage and aldebaran but had not seriously taken a look. i will do that now.

but right now the news that nummber 24 of -storm
and nummber 4 of -druids
is out is more pressing. ;)

moebius is simply a genius and i´m totaly with you. the hermetic garage/major gruber, arzach and edena are his best and of the edena-books sra is... lets say - the others are better. but sra is better then the blueberrys, i really don´t like them. i think it is the western-theme.

how to chose a comic.
hm... i use magazines with mangas of mangaka i don´t know (you can see the magazines i read in my library - but they are not complete) but if i know the artist and KNOW that i will like his work i simply buy the book when i see his name on the cover. with "euro-"comics its impuls-buying after i had a look in the comicshop or i also KNOW the artist and his work. and finaly "us-"comics is like with the euros. ;)

wow, les passagers du vent will be continued. hey, thats good news.
interesting library you have there.

what do you think about moebius/jean giraud?
