About meBorn 1954, married with two grown-up children
Main interests in literature: 18-19th century fiction, from England,France and Russia;20th century fiction from Eastern Europe America and Germany; Short stories mainly from America.
Current Aim: To be able to go through most of the important 19th century masterpieces (up to the beginning of the 1st World War), and at least some of the important masterpieces of the first half of the 20th century that I haven't read until I was 50.
I also want to read all the works of the important Hebrew authors starting in the 2nd half of the 19th century until today.
Started out in 2004; I manage to read on the average 6-7 books every month, I guess that by 2024 I'll accomplish my aim and can relax a little bit.

Other fields of interests: Music (eclectic taste), and sports.

About my libraryI've started to collect fairly recently (2003); before that I would be reading a book and get rid of it as soon as I was through.
My library mostly contains 19th century novels, plenty of short stories anthologies, and select 20th century Modern Classics from authors such as Faulkner, Mann, Hemingway etc
The catalog lists only the English titles in my library, I also have several hundred Hebrew volumes.
