About meI am a married father of two, educated as a meteorologist and working as a Project Manager for a weather company. I love traveling, reading, spending time in nature, learning about the natural world, and various nature-related hobbies (horticulture, fossil collecting, birding, etc.).

About my libraryMy library contains all of the books I have ever read (that I can remember) and those that I plan on reading soon. The ones that I haven't yet read are tagged as "to read."

I like reading books of varying genres, including science fiction, dystopian, classics, religious (Christian), social issues/social justice, race and racism, history, history of science, plants, and environmental.
My favorite genre is probably dystopian novels - like 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Anthem, The Giver, etc.

I also have books in my library that pertain to work (computer programming) or travel. I started the [1000 Places to See Before You Die] group, based on the popular book.

Groups1000 Places to See Before You Die, 1001 Books to read before you die, 50 Book Challenge, Atwoodians, Bibliophiles of Oklahoma, BookMooching, Christianity, Dust Jacket Gazers, Dystopian novels, Ecology and the environmentshow all groups

Favorite authorsMargaret Atwood, Richard Bach, Orson Scott Card, David Dark, Ted Dekker, Philip K. Dick, C. S. Lewis, W. Somerset Maugham, George Orwell, Frank E. Peretti, H. G. Wells (Shared favorites)
