About meI come from a long line of Tennessee hillbillies and Texas rednecks. I am the co-founder and artistic director of Thin Dime Theater Company, and I am the owner of the independent film company Dilligaf Productions, both based in Dallas.

I recently completed my third independent, feature-length film, HAVING MY BABY. See my website, www.havingmybabymovie.com.

Some of the plays I have written, produced and directed for Thin Dime include Warboots, Dead or in Huntsville, 3 Violent Plays and Hillbilly Karma. Screenplays I have written include Having My Baby, Blood is Thicker, Dead or in Huntsville, Junkyard Dog and Joey & Jeffie, based on the life of New York mobster, Joey (Crazy Joe) Gallo, and adapted from the biography Joey, by Donald Goddard.

I have a slim, experimental novel titled, Sinister Biscuits. I am also working on an epic novel titled, Captain Save a Ho. I love books... I love to read books, write books and collect books. I am also an export/import compliance specialist and consultant. After that, an eight hour day, a bowl of beans, and the rest is illusion.

I have a blog at www.dilligafproductions.blogspot.com

About my libraryI have been collecting books for approximately 22 years. My other collection prior to that burned in a house fire in 1984. I hope to eventually catalog all my books on Library Thing. I am currently cataloging my favorite books, my rare books, my collectible books and any others I happen to grab at any given moment.

It took a month?! I recently read Ianthe Brautigan's memoir (decent), and it wasn't really specific, but it made it sound like it took about a week, and that Brautigan intentionally set up his house on a schedule to give the appearance that someone was home. That's pretty disturbing if his body sat in the corner of that room for a month...
Ahhh, okay, I just assumed since you only mentioned two of the pre-Pill rarities. I saw a copy of Return of the Rivers yesterday selling for nearly $10,0000.

His stuff's pretty hard to find. Once or twice a year, I'll go crazy and make 'pilgrimages' to every used bookstore w/in my reach--including those in Dallas once or twice--and it's those times I've found most of my Brautigan collection--including the Tokyo-M. Express I only just found. Finally. Woo-hoo!
(And hey, I like your collection. One of these days...I'll finally get round to that Ram Dass. [So...you actually own copies of Please Plant This Book, Return of the Rivers, LTMT and TOF?])
Har har, I wish; just read them on brautigan.net after getting sick of waiting to find a copy of June 30th, June 30th for a decent price, and just included a bunch of Brautigan poems in a speech for a class, causing me to remember that Brautigan magic I've been away far too long from, and in looking at that book's (J30J30) poems I saw that all his early "books" contained poems that were NOT re-released in Pill as I previously thought. So I read them, and blahblahblah.
