About meI love to read (when I can) and prowl used bookstores for gems. In addition to my full-time job I sell used and out-of-print books on the internet (www.zenosbooks.com - check out the site for a lot more information on my books and lots of great book pictures). I used to juggle quite a bit and still do from time to time, but that picture was from a long time ago.

About my libraryI am book-rich and cash-poor!... Some of my favorite books - Confessions of Zeno, Moby Dick, Roderick Random, Buddenbrooks, Minty Alley, Black Jacobins, Wizard of The Crow.

Hello,
I am a writer of Western fiction and I'm looking for folks who may be interested in things of the west like I am. I live in NM and enjoy hiking and exploring all over the southwest.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you want.
Thanks,
Jon.
Good. You have excellent collection of books. Nice to meet you here.
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark (in the same vein as Paris Trout). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Yes, I would say we have something in common here. Updike, McCullough, Follett, McMurtry with some authors of gritty and grotesque mystery stories thrown in. I'm going to check out your library for reading ideas. And if I may suggest that; if you found All Souls interesting, read Black Mass by Lehrer. Also, The Berrybender Series by McMurtry was - well - the berries! Jack Reacher, Lee Child's bigger than life superhero (sort of) - is a match for Stephen Hunter's Swaggers. And for a diversion from supermen suspense, try the Joe Pickett mystery series. I'm forgetting the author...Box(?) Anyway, Joe is real - a well developed, interesting, real life (almost) mystery hero. Environmental issues are infused into the stories; thought provoking in simple writing.
Best wishes for good reading. Diane (Curiouser)
