About meI live in Nebraska with my husband and several cats. I'm a writer, and I usually produce at least half a dozen new (first draft) novels and twice as many short stories a year. So be prepared. There's no telling where the stories might turn up if they escape. (Or maybe that's the cats....)

Recently, I have started taking part in a small Indie Publication Company called A Conspiracy of Authors. You can find many of my works in ebook format here: http://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/LazetteG

I am the owner of Forward Motion (http://fmwriters.com), a writers' community of over 12,000 members, and the editor for Vision: A Resource for Writers (http://lazette.net/vision), now in its seventh year of production. I'm also the Associate Publisher for Double Dragon Ebooks new imprint, Dragon Tooth Fantasy.

My published work includes a number of ebooks like the Dark Staff fantasy series, the Singer and St. Jude science fiction series, and Without a Fear of Words -- a nonfiction book on writing. I have two small print chapbooks (collections of 2 or 3 stories in a small magazine-format) from Yard Dog Press. I also have The 2YN books, a two volume novel writing course available (and pretty popular).

I write fantasy, science fiction, mystery and contemporary young adult -- and just about anything else that catches my attention.

I'm also interested in digital photography and have had a few pictures (zoo related) published in different print venues. I've recently become interested (okay, obsessed) with 3d art programs like Poser, and just sold one as a cover for an upcoming small press Christmas Cat book.

And now back to typing in more of this collection....

About my libraryMy library is an eclectic collection of books that range from things like Great Books of the Western World to Trixie Beldon, and from science fiction to ancient history. My husband and I met in a bookstore which pretty much means we were doomed from the start. We now own a second small house next to our first one because the book collection had gotten too large. He has an extensive section on American History, mostly focused on 1932-1980, as well as many books on each U.S. president.

I love learning things, and my collection often mirrors 'current' interests. I also have many author friends and try to keep up on their books as well.
