About meI'm travelling New Zealand! I have a backpack which is notoriously bad for transporting massive amounts of books, so I join every library I come across. I love it.
About my libraryMy books take up too much space and therefore slowly mutate to furniture. I only add books that I own; I tried adding books I'd read elsewhere once, but it got very confusing, so I gave up.
(Edit: Actually, not true. All the books that are tagged "read in nz" I read in New Zealand (duh) and I don't own them. They come from those awesome public libraries they have round here. I do lose track though, once I'm at the library I average two books a day, which gets really confusing really quick.)
I own lots of children's literature because back in the day my family was still giving me books on every occasions -- I don't know why they stopped.
On one fateful day I discovered the possibility of buying cheap, used books on the internet. I'm not convinced I save money because it's such a convenient excuse to keep buying.
I have a soft spot for hardcovers, dictionaries and novels written in verse. I need more.
