CcanRead: The Fault in Our Stars! A YA favorite of the year. (Sun, 24 Nov 2013 22:08:21 -0500)

zjakkelien: Hi Trundlebear! I'm your Santa this year. I have a few favorite books, but not all of them were available as ebook at a reasonable price... My favorite fantasy books are the Fionavar Tapestry series by Guy Gavriel Kay, but that one you have already. Another favorite, The day of the triffids by John Wyndham was ridiculously expensive, so I forwent that one.

So what have I chosen for you? The first book is not strictly fantasy, but it does approach it, and for me this was one of the finds of the year. A great book that manages to write about secret societies, eternal life and Google at the same time. I really hope you'll enjoy it!

The second book has been another favorite fantasy book for years. I've re-read it several times, and I absolutely love the universe. It is epic fantasy, or perhaps more alternate history, with a great heroine. The characters are great, and the villain is human, and not completely evil. I had a small moment of doubt because the book has some sexual content, but since I saw you had books by July Anne Long,I figured you wouldn't mind.

I hope you'll enjoy the books I chose for you! Have a great Christmas! (Wed, 04 Dec 2013 13:41:28 -0500)

zjakkelien: Note to LT staff: The books I chose are ebooks, as requested by Trundlebear. I put in the ASIN codes instead of ISBN, the last ISBN is just a filler. (Wed, 04 Dec 2013 13:42:48 -0500)

ablachly: done! (I also added in The Fault in Our Stars since there was a bit of extra money) (Wed, 11 Dec 2013 11:34:25 -0500)
