Book tastes

Magic, fantasy, fiction, light romance, history. My favourite books are The Discovery of Witches/ All Souls Triology series by Deborah Harkness and Versions of Us & Greatest Hits by Laura Barnett. I’ve tried lots of other magical romance books, but haven’t found any to compare to Deb Harkness. Love Harry Potter, but hate Lord of the Rings!

Don't get this!

Horror, true crime.

Other notes

Secret Santa

Charli333's Secret Santa is ablachly. Help ablachly pick the right book.

ablachly: Oh I too love the All Souls books (and I met Deborah Harkness this year!). I'm also looking for the next best thing to that, so if YOU find it, tell me! In the meantime... Susanna Kearsley writes a lot of dual-narrative historical fiction books with some varieties of time travel and romance in them. I'm getting you an older book of hers, but check out her newest, Bellewether as well. I'd also suggest (but didn't have space to get them for you) The Clockmaker's Daughter by Kate Morton and Ghost Talkers by Mary Robinette Kowal. Enjoy! (Fri, 30 Nov 2018 10:10:33 -0500)

lorannen: Done. (Sun, 16 Dec 2018 17:20:57 -0500)
