Secret Santa

KatyLL's Secret Santa is Quati. Help Quati pick the right book.

xenophon: Jane Austen, P.G. Wodehouse, or for a bit more literary Anthony Powell (Sat, 24 Nov 2018 11:40:07 -0500)

Quati: Also:

Peter Rabbit and Eleven Other Favorite Tales

$3.00 (Sun, 02 Dec 2018 08:56:09 -0500)

lorannen: Couldn't fit Santa's 6th pick, Peter Rabbit in, due to budget. The Innocents Abroad edition initially selected wasn't available. (Fri, 07 Dec 2018 19:27:59 -0500)

lorannen: Done. (Thu, 20 Dec 2018 15:43:44 -0500)

KatyLL: don't know how xenophon decided to suggest those things to Quati, but classic stuff isn't what I was hoping for - Anthony Powell might have been an improvement - Three Men in a Boat is (sadly) not a well-done edition, very much too small print/tight leading, and the illustrations are tiny. I must have taken it for granted people would know I'd have copies of classics already!
