Rylan loves animal and dinosaur books. He loves non-fiction books and books similar to the ones that have a layered 3D skeleton/body part model. He loves books with a lot of pictures. He loves books that are similar to children's animal encyclopedia's too. He's working hard on learning to read and any beginning readers books are a great way to let him practice at home. Social-emotional books are also a great way for Rylan to learn/practice different skills. Helping him understand his feelings or those of another is best done using visual tools.
Don't get this!
Any chapter books, scary books, or books that are too far off from his interests.
Social-emotional books could cover a wide variety of topics, anxiety, autism, anger, friendship, etc. Books in the wishlist are books we would love to have but are also just suggestions for books that you could go off of, or find books that are similar to them.
