CcanRead: We have similar tastes! I think she would like Meg Cabot's Heather Wells series, either series by author Heather Blake, Following Polly by Karen Bergren, or the Lowcountry Boil series by Susan M. Boyer (Wed, 27 Nov 2013 23:15:44 -0500)

birdsam0610: Hello and happy holidays :)

I hope you enjoy the festive season reading and reading! I've chosen some books that I hope you enjoy and also taken the advice of other Library Thingers.

I chose Cocaine Blues by Kerry Greenwood, as she's an Australian author and that's where I'm from. Phryne Fisher is a sensation Down Under for her ability to solve murders and her fashion sense!

Natsuo Kirino's Out is another crime book, focusing on a group of women working in a sushi factory. I love Japanese fiction in translation and I hope you like it.

Finally, the Heather Blake and Karen Bergreen books were suggested by Ccanread - these sound delightful and I think they'd fit in nicely with your library!

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year,

Sam (Sun, 01 Dec 2013 03:31:53 -0500)
