Don't get this!
Definitely no horror, sci fi, blood and gore, gooey romance, police procedurals, graphic sex or violence, cruelty to animals or people, or profanity. Guess I am a squeaky clean sort of girl!
LadyoftheLodge's Secret Santa is MaggieGrinnell. Help MaggieGrinnell pick the right book.
holly_golightly: If you like cozy mysteries with lady sleuths, then I would highly recommend High Rising by Angela Thirkell! (Tue, 20 Nov 2018 18:06:53 -0500)
library_mistress: Dear secret santa, I compile a list of librarian mystery series, maybe it's helpful: http://library-mistress.net/berufsbild/belletristik-film/krimireihen/. I guess the Seneca Falls Historical Mysteries (historical; one of my personal favourites, especially "Seneca Falls Inheritance" and "
North Star Conspiracy"), Bookmobile Cat Mysteries (cat and librarian), and the Book Retreat Mysteries could be fitting. (Tue, 27 Nov 2018 04:35:16 -0500)
Bowerbirds-Library: Anthony Eglin's garden mystery series (which starts with The Blue Rose) is highly enjoyable. (Tue, 27 Nov 2018 10:30:35 -0500)
ChessFanatic: What about anything by Lydia Adamson? I only read one of her books a while ago. It didn't strike me enough to continue whereas I have read the first 12 of the series by Braun (who I see is in her author cloud), but if she's a cataholic, Adamson might be right up her alley!
