We like irreverent fantasy, sci-fi and romance – werewolves, vampires and the like. Comedic and sarcastic authors add to the fun, but authors like Stephen King are great too.
Don't get this!
Please stay away from non-fiction - unless it is about a colorful character. Our lives are serious enough :)
Thank for being Santa - it's always nice to get suggestions from others!!
ktlander's Secret Santa is joyjohnston. Help joyjohnston pick the right book.
seongeona: A comparison of our libraries tells me they don't have the Magic (Kate Daniels) series by Ilona Andrews, which combines a complex fantasy storyline of magic, vampires, werewolves, etc. with some romance and humor. Captivating and I really came to care about the characters. (Sun, 25 Nov 2018 19:08:44 -0500)
WeeTurtle: Library comparison tells me that they need to borrow my Malazan Empire books by Stephen Erikson. (Mon, 26 Nov 2018 07:05:53 -0500)
Aula: A. Lee Martinez' 'Gil's All Fright Diner' (funny, irreverant and has vampires, ghouls, etc.); Gail Carriger's 'Parasol Protectorate' Series, perhaps? (Tue, 27 Nov 2018 01:06:34 -0500)
