Because I read so much and because I'm so, so, so far behind on updating my library, you are best off picking from one of the following collections. There are many different genres to pick from. Wishlist: Top picks for this year, about two dozen books LT Recommended: Next wanted, all recommended by LTers, mostly from the 75ers group, 150+ books Want to Read: Also rans, books recommended from other places (i.e., book lists, other websites), another 150+ books
Don't get this!
I'd really like to avoid duplicates, so please try to stick with the lists above. If you must go off list, do not get me any fantasy. Chances are I've either read it or don't want to read it. Also, no politics, no religion, no "dense" reading, and since I'm recently grieving both the loss of my dog and my SIL (brother's wife), nothing involving dead or dying pets or people (i.e., emotional stuff - murder mysteries, thrillers, etc. are fine.) Nothing that would make a person "ugly cry" unless it's out of happiness.
Try to keep the books on the lighter side this year. Nothing too emotionally heavy. I didn't go through all the collections to remove them, so please try to keep that in mind.
