I love fantasy and historical fiction and historical fantasy. My favorite time periods are the Roaring 20s, the Great Depression, WWII, and the Cold War. I love reading about Russia and fantasy set in Russia or with Russian overtones makes me very happy. To me, a book should be at least 300+ pages...I've been reading longer books lately, in the 500 or 600 page range.
Don't get this!
No Anthony Ryan. I've read all I've wanted of him, thanks. I've got the two Ken Follett trilogies, so don't buy those either. I don't like Lee Child, James Patterson, or "quick reads".
