- Set in a world similar to our own, The Hidden Academy series follows the adventures of David Ash, a young Custodian in the British branch of this Academy. The Custodians are all Summoners, people with the power to bring into reality anything of which their minds can conceive. They are tasked with policing the borders of reality and with ensuring that no Summoners attempt to rule over their fellow humans. The novels to date have concentrated on Ash's confrontations with various creatures from myth and legend and have seen him develop both his powers and his circle friends as the world grows seemingly darker about him.
