Yum! Could this be applied to the Tag Watch on the Home Page?

Um, isn't it?

*sigh* I really try to avoid having book covers all over the place but they insist on following me.

Ooh, nice! I like it.

>2 justjim: I didn't notice it on the homepage at first because you have to opt in to the covers (a check box under edit), so it's not obvious at first that they are available.

Recently Added has "Show Covers/Show List" radio button at the top.
Connection News has "Show Covers/Omit Covers" radio buttons at the bottom.
Tag Watch has a "Show Covers" check box at the bottom.
Recommendations doesn't have a covers option at all.

On the right hand side:
Recently Added doesn't have a covers option.
Popular This Month doesn't have a covers option.
Hot Reviews doesn't have a covers option.

I presume these options could be standardised at some point? (I can see why the right hand side doesn't display covers at all, but couldn't the presentation of the cusomization boxes for the left hand components be unified?)

I turned on covers, which turned out not to be relevant, I still don't get any XML/HTML option buttons for RSS feeds.

Are you having problems with the RSS on the tag page or do you want it on the home page?

Sorry, with the sheer amount of surprise you managed to inject in 13 characters in msg >2 justjim:, I thought the RSS buttons were already supposed to show on the home page. Looks good to me.

Well actually, now that I've had a play, I don't seem to be able to get the RSS working. It's probably my lack of understanding though.

I'm using FF (upgraded to v3 yesterday!) and on the LT blog page, FF recognises that there are three (atom) feeds available and puts the RSS icon in the address bar. Clicking on that does give three choices of feeds (although the descriptions there are not as clear as on the actual page).

On other pages (my profile for example), FF does not recognise the XML/HTML buttons as feed opportunities, but if I click on the XML buttons for "recently added" or "JustJims reviews" , FF does give me the opportunity to subscribe by Live Bookmarks or other RSS readers/agregators. XML button "reviews of justjims books not including etc etc" and the HTML buttons behave as below.

On the Tags page, clicking on either the XML or HTML buttons just goes to what looks like a blank page. Perhaps something goes on with code on that page, but I don't know how to find out. The URIs of my attempted tag subscriptions are below (without leading and trailing spaces, so hopefully it won't turn into a link)

I hope this is all clear enough for you to understand even if it does make you slap your forehead and mutter "Stupid darn users!"

Sending to Chris. I'm not sure he did the your RSS feeds when he did the global ones.

Thanks. Boy you're on the ball! (although I did just spend a moment recovering from a Blue Screen of Death - Thanks Windows Vista!)

Is this feature working for all tags, or just popular ones?

I've tagged a good handful of books "Islandia" recently, but the Islandia tag page (http://www.librarything.com/tag/Islandia) hasn't updated completely. Does it just need more time?
