Jul 31, 2008, 11:14am (top)Message 1: timspalding![]() Apparently he has two copies of the Deathly Hallows... :) Well, I guess everyone must have some flaws. Jul 31, 2008, 1:33pm (top)Message 3: timspaldingThe green ones are another HP. I wonder what the others are. The big red one looks like it says Principles of ________. #1 tim: I bet one is his reading copy and the other is a signed copy - he seems that he might be a little on the neurotic side like that to me. #4 flee: Principles of Biochemistry, maybe? http://www.amazon.com/Principles-Biochem... Wow, I should really be working instead of looking up Dr. Horrible's books on Amazon... >5 Sure looks like it - Principles of Biochemistry - ExVivre owns a copy. We could get him to confirm. flee: It makes sense - clearly that would be a handy book around if you're working on stuff like freeze-rays and such. So, I want to know what crew member happened to have book that lying around and do they use LT? ;) Jul 31, 2008, 4:34pm (top)Message 9: timspaldingHoly crap, that's what it is. The video makes it easier to see the words and confirm the cover pattern. Jul 31, 2008, 4:38pm (top)Message 10: timspaldingAnd here is Penny, reading... The Toy Collector (took some research, but very appropriate) ![]() Message edited by its author, Jul 31, 2008, 4:47pm. Jul 31, 2008, 5:27pm (top)Message 11: ExVivre>6 Yep, it's Albert L. Lehninger's Principles of Biochemistry. I also recognize the book next to it: James S. Walker's Physics. I'm not quite sure what edition. Message edited by its author, Jul 31, 2008, 5:27pm. Jul 31, 2008, 5:30pm (top)Message 12: fleelaThere you go, Tim. All answers to life's questions can be found right here at LT. Jul 31, 2008, 6:24pm (top)Message 13: jbd1I think the other HP is "Goblet of Fire," isn't it? But apparently I've been mucking about with Priestley's library too long ... um, who's Dr. Horrible? Jul 31, 2008, 6:43pm (top)Message 14: timspaldingJul 31, 2008, 9:19pm (top)Message 15: shrewI have to agree with scaifea on the signed copy. Or maybe he has so many books (somewhere else, obviously) that he forgot he'd bought it already and bought it again . . . not that I've ever done that. no. And this post made me sporffle out loud when I saw it! Aug 3, 2008, 2:25pm (top)Message 16: timspaldingAug 3, 2008, 6:12pm (top)Message 17: fleela>16 Besides my car making a brief appearance in a CNN new story, that blog post is the closest I will probably come to fame. Aug 3, 2008, 6:21pm (top)Message 18: timspaldingWhat happened to you car? Aug 3, 2008, 6:25pm (top)Message 19: fleelaMy husband worked next door to a company whose owner went missing in Iraq. My car was in the parking lot the day CNN filmed exterior shots. Aug 3, 2008, 6:36pm (top)Message 20: timspaldingHa. Apart from LibraryThing, I think I've never been in the news. Once I was interviewed—a man-on-the-street interview—by some BBC reporter, I think, about the U.S. elections. I have no idea if it made it in the news. The reporter seemed to think my opinions were too detailed and not typical. Aug 3, 2008, 6:39pm (top)Message 21: fleelatoo detailed and not typical Not at all surprised! :) Aug 3, 2008, 6:40pm (top)Message 22: timspaldingYeah. Aug 4, 2008, 3:19pm (top)Message 23: scaifeaI'm glad I'm not the only one that got excited about my new-found LT fame, flee. I was practically giddy when I saw this thread make the thingology page! If only I could figure out some way of using this on my CV... Aug 4, 2008, 4:37pm (top)Message 24: timspaldingWe need to start awarding barnstars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:B...) Aug 4, 2008, 6:19pm (top)Message 25: scaifeaOh, that's it! How many barnstars do you think I'd need to get tenure...? Aug 7, 2008, 11:21am (top)Message 26: lifeofreillyIt's Lehninger, 2nd Edition, Creighton's Proteins- Structure and Molecular Properties Lodish's Molecular Cell Biology 3rd Edition Make Love The Bruce Campbell Way by, of course, The Man, The Myth, The Chin: Bruce Campbell. and Johnny The Homicidal Maniac: The Director's Cut by Jhonen Vasquez Oddly appropriate for a Mad Scientist cum Evil Villain, dontcha think? Ah, the internets, is there anything they can't do? Since they were/are my books, does that take all the fun out of this? They didn't really bring any set dressing. It's like I'm cheating or something... Message edited by its author, Aug 7, 2008, 1:25pm. Aug 7, 2008, 1:00pm (top)Message 27: timspaldingAccording to blog comments, that's the guy whose house it was! Aug 8, 2008, 11:39am (top)Message 28: akrissy_lifeofreilly_ Seriously? you worked on the set for Dr. Horrible and supplied these books for the shelves? I LOVE the LT UNIVERSE! Message edited by its author, Aug 8, 2008, 11:40am. Aug 8, 2008, 12:29pm (top)Message 29: timspaldingI think that's his house, even. T Aug 8, 2008, 3:24pm (top)Message 30: tardisI can't even describe or explain the sense of geeky joy that this particular cataloguing project gives me. Aug 8, 2008, 3:26pm (top)Message 31: timspaldingI think life should convince Whedon to let us come over and catalog is books :) That sounded more profound (but also confusing) when I thought you meant actual life, as opposed to lifeofreilly.
